Abstract:
PURPOSE:To require no manual adjustment and enable to perform an adjustment without affected by the magnitude of the degree of viscosity due to the temperature of an operating fluid by a method wherein an automatic adjusting mechanism for the abrasion of a clutch disc is formed in a hydraulic booster. CONSTITUTION:In case of the stepping of a clutch pedal 30, an inputting piston 43 of a hydraulic booster 40 is moved to left side, a valve base body 59 of a valve mechanism 57 is moved to left side against a spring 63, a valve body 61 is made to be flush with the valve base body 59. Thereby, a pressure chamber 56 is shut off from a drain chamber 50, subsequently, the pressure in an operating chamber 47 is increased by the left side movement of the piston 43. Thus, a friction clutch 10 is released by the operating force generated at a power piston 44 via an operating fluid in the pressure chamber 56, a piston 55 and a rod 71. In case of the releasing of the stepping of the pedal 30, the piston 55 is moved to right side caused by the overcoming of the pushing pressure applied to the piston 55 via the rod 71 against the elastic force of the spring 63 when the clutch disc is worn out. Thus, the friction is absorbed.
