PURPOSE: To form a space having designated size, independently of printed characters, character intervals of codes and intervals between lines, by constituting that the size of a space is inputted in the unit of length, in forming a desired space on a print paper.

CONSTITUTION: Length of framing is inputted, then a central processing unit 2 converts the size of width and length for the framing into character and column interval unit of output print system. The framing part is transmitted to a print control section 8 as blank information. Further, the framing part is not stored in a storage device 3 as the blank information, and character and code information and size data for the framing are individually stored, and in case of output and print to a printer 5, the data are converted in the central processing unit 2 according to the character and line interval data designated.
