Abstract:
PURPOSE:To alleviate the power loss of a DC voltage converter by feeding back the surge power stored in the condenser of a surge suppressor to the input DC power source side. CONSTITUTION:When a switching transistor 4 is turned OFF, a surge voltage is generated between the collector and the emitter. The surge current is flowed through a condenser 6 and a diode 7, and charge is thus stored in the condenser 6. A circuit which has a diode 14 provided between the connecting point of the condenser 6 and the diode 7 and an earth side line and a switching transistor 15 has a function for feeding back the power stored in the condenser 6 when the transistor 4 is turned OFF by discharging the condenser 6 at the input DC power source 1 side when the transistor 4 is turned ON.
