Title:
COMPOSITE RESONATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5921101
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the external electromagnetic distortion of each area between ferrite layers and to ensure the working over a wide band, by laminating ferrite layers of different types of saturated magnetization, inserting a thin dielectric layer to each area between those ferrite layers and applying an external magnetic field to the dielectric layer to constitute a resonator.

CONSTITUTION: A resonator is formed with a composite material which is made by inserting thin dielectric rings 14, 15 and 16 to the junction faces of multiplex ferrite layers of 4πMS. In such a way, it is possible to reduce the internal distortion which is produced in the nanufacturing process of the multilayered ferrite. Furthermore a circulator is produced with use of such a composite material as a resonator, and to effective radius is varied for the external magnetic field applied to thecomposite material. Therefore the matching of internal impedance is varied to change freely the working frequency. At the same time, the radius varies for the composite material which works effectively. Then the overall working frequency can be changed in the direction where the frequency is high or in the opposite direction.
