Abstract:
Apparatus and methods for extruding tubes having a longitudinal off-center passage therein, from billets having off-center bores comprises a die 30 for forming the outer shape of the tube and a mandrel 71 for forming its passage both being located off-center, so that flow of the material through the die will not push the mandrel to one side and cause the passage in the tube to be incorrectly located.
