Title:
PRODUCTION OF ALUMINUM BRAZED PARTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04111968
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve productivity by brazing the aluminum parts formed with a flux film on the front surface by a dry process, thereby shortening the working stage.

CONSTITUTION: The flux film is formed by the dry process on the front surface of the tentative assembly of aluminum members and thereafter, the respective aluminum members are brazed. The need for the drying stage after the film formation is eliminated in this way, unlike a wet process and the stage up to the brazing is shortened. The productivity is thus improved. The danger of carryover of moisture to a brazing furnace and the danger of generation of hydrate films are prevented and the quality of the brazed parts is improved. This production process is effectively utilized for the production of the aluminum brazed parts, such as radiators for automobiles, and evaporators and condensers of air conditioners for vehicles.
