Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to place temporary decks in ship hold for containers and provided a combined container carrier and general cargo carrier, by a method wherein rollers provided at a central part of a foldable tentative deck are movably engaged to guide members provided in transverse direction in a container hold.

CONSTITUTION: The guide members 4 are provided in transverse directions in the container hold 2 in which a plurality of cell guides are errected so that containers can be supported and contained. The guide member 4 enables to move the rollers 7 provided at the central part of the temporary deck 5 obtained by foldably connecting deck members cut to predetermined length, and enables the deck 5 to be unfolded and folded. Accordingly, temporary decks can be placed in a container hold, and a container carrier can be reformed into a combined carrier capable of containing not only containers but general cargo.
