PURPOSE: To calculate the natural oscillation, the attenuation constant, and the statical deflection of a structure, by eliminating and compensating the influence of feet which come into an optionally selected freedom degree system from freedom degree systems on the higher frequency side and the lower frequency side and compensating all freedom degree systems successively on a basis of this elimination and compensation.
CONSTITUTION: An optional point of a material to be measured (omitted in figure) is struck with a hammer, and the output of an accelerometer (omitted in figure) provided at each point to be measured is applied to input terminals 1 and 2 of a transfer function measuring device 5. Input signals 1 and 2 are converted to digital signals by A-D converters 3 and 4, and a transfer function measured value is obtained by a Fourier converter 6. This result is applied to a CRT device 7, a microcomputer 8, and an X-Y plotter 9. Evaluation and compensation are performed by the influence of feet which come in from mountains on the higher side and the lower side of an optionally selected mountain, thereby improving the precision and shortening the time.
