Abstract:
PURPOSE:To judge completion of reproducing and optimize the reproduction control by furnishing a temp. sensing means in a space situated downstream of a filter about the flow of air led to particulates, and commencing air delivery when this temp. sensing means senses the maximum temp. which shall be kept until a certain specified period of time has elapsed. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine 11 passes a main exhaust pipe 23 and flows into an exhaust divergent pipe 13 where a valve 26 installed 26 is kept opened, and gets rid of particulates while flowing in a filter 14. When the output of a pressure sensing means 21 installed at the inlet side exhaust pipe of a cavity resonator 12 attains the reference pressure value, the valve 26 is controlled to lead the exhaust gas to another exhaust divergent pipe 24, and reproduction of the filter 14 is started. A control part 29 controls a drive power supply 30 in conformity to a reproduction start instruction given by a computing part 28, and a magnetron 16 is operated. The microwaves generated by this magnetron 16 are fed to the cavity resonator 12 through a wave-guide tube 15 and an aperture 17. Then another valve 27 is controlled, and a certain amount of air generated by an air pump 25 is led to the cavity resonator 12.
