PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a transmitter, by performing three simultaneous beam scannings.
CONSTITUTION: In transmission, the exciter 21 of a transmitter 2 is controlled by a timing controller 1 and almost simultaneously generates plural high frequency pulse signals 30 having different frequences. The signals 30 are applied to a change-over device 23 through an amplifier 22 and the components 301W303 of the signals 30 are outputted while successively changed over by timing from the controller 1. The signals 301W303 are supplied to the current supply terminals 41, 42, 43 of an antenna 4 through transmitting and receiving separators 3-1W 3-3 and almost simultaneously emitted to a space. In reception, the reflected signals from an object are simultaneously collected by each beam and transmitted to receivers 5-1W5-3 while demodulated output is sent to a display device 7 through a signal processor 6.
