PURPOSE: To make the disposal of cut scraps into automation, by combining a wide variety of detection devices together, signals from which control operations of each unit.
CONSTITUTION: After a tip detection device P1 has detected a tip of plate work, a tip part in specified length is measured, while it is cut off into short in size and made into disposal automatically with an end part disposal device 6, then this disposal is checked up with a disposal detection device P2. With this constitution, the end part disposal device 6 is restored to its regular position, and afterward sizing products are fed to the next machining line in regular sequence. In this connection, after a rear end detection device P3 detects an end of the plate work, a final product is checked up with a passing detection device P4 and then a residual part of the plate work is fed to the end part disposal device, thereby making it into disposal in an automated manner.
