PURPOSE: To perform magnetic recording and printing on magnetic continuous slip of a wide range of size by providing a magnetic recording part, magnetic read part, printing part, mark read and detection part, and control part which compares recorded information with read information.

CONSTITUTION: A magnetic continuous document 3 on which specific magnetic recording information is recorded is conveyed to the magnetic recording part 6 and read at the magnetic read part by a magnetic head; when the read information coincides with previously recorded information, the slip 3 is conveyed to the printing part, and not, the slip is returned to the recording part for rerecording, and sent to the printing part for printing. The print starts at a slip detection mark 7 and is provided at the interval L of the slip A slip feed guide is moved in the breadthwise direction of the slip to vary the slip width, and a recording error is rewritable, so that the magnetic recording and printing to the slip is carried on continuously.
