Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reset automatically a pickup when it goes over a pause position in a pause operation mode, by delivering a control signal to move back a pickup. CONSTITUTION:When a pause switch 314 is turned on while a pickup 207 is reproducing an optional position of a disk 206, a latch circuit 311 is set with the set output of a flip-flop circuit 313. Then the address data given from an address detecting circuit 211 when the switch 314 is operated is latched. In this case, however, a pickup 206 itself is not stopped but advances toward reproduction. As a result, the address data supplied to a comparator 312 from the circuit 211 goes beyond the address data which is previously latched by the circuit 311 at the switch 314 is operated. Then a control signal is delivered to a pickup control circuit 315 in a control circuit 201 from the comparator 312 to move back the pickup.
