Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the intrusion of noise and to make character reading accurate, by changing a slice level while a specific part is scanned, in a reader processing reading according to the designated region.
CONSTITUTION: A mark M2 representing the main scanning position of a part S is recorded on a reading original end band section ET and a mark M1 representing the subscanning position of the part S is recorded on the reading original end PE to specify the part S on the reading original P from the main and the subscanning position, and the scanning time of the part S is detected trough the detection of both marks. The slice level is switched with a switch K and automatic adjustment is performed during that time.
