PURPOSE: To provide a massaging effect when using a shower, by a method wherein a driving device for varying a set water quantity for a water quantity controller is driven by a signal from a signal generator, and the quantity of water in a hot water supplying device is varied with time.
CONSTITUTION: When passing of water is started, water flowing into the water quantity controller 1 flows into a heat exchanger 11 through a water quantity regulating valve 10, is heated, and is supplied to the exterior through a hot water tapping pipe 12. The flow of water actuates a flow switch, thereby starting combustion in a heater 21, whereby the temperature of hot water is raised, and the temperature is stabilized after the lapse of some period of time. Thereafter, when a switch 18 is closed, a signal is fed out from a memory part 17a, is amplified, and is transmitted to a motor 15 for the driving device 16 through the signal generator 17, whereby the valve 10 is rotated forwardly or reversely. By the rotation of the valve 10, constriction of a valve hole 10a is changed, a pressure difference across the hole 10a is exerted on a diaphragm 7 to drive a controlling valve 4, thereby changing the water quantity. The water quantity is successively changed by signals fed out from the signal generator 17.
