Abstract:
PURPOSE:To position the rotation center of a disc recording medium easily with a high precision to set the disc recording medium to a disc device, by providing a through hole having a V-shaped side in a disc holder attached to the disc recording medium and providing a magnetic metal in the position facing this V-shaped side and providing a magnet which attracts the magnetic metal to the revolving shaft of a device body, which is inserted through the through hole, in one body and moves the disc holder in such direction that the V-shaped side is brought into contact with the revolving shaft. CONSTITUTION:A device body center spindle 4b is inserted to a through hole 7 of a disc holder 2, to which a disc recording medium 1 is fixed, to set the disc recording medium. At this time, the disc holder 2 is placed on a rotor base 4a to prescribe the plane position of the disc holder 2, and the disc holder is moved in the direction of an arrow by the attraction between a permanent magnet 5 and a magnetic metallic body 8. By this movement, a V-shaped side 6 of the through hole 7 is brought into contact with the circumferential face of the center spindle 4b in two positions. Thus, the set position of the disc holder 2 to the center spindle 4a is regulated unequivocally, and its center is positioned.
