Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it unnecessary to store a transacting condition of a user in a file of a center side CPU, and to reduce a file capacity and a load of the CPU by providing an IC chip for storing the transacting condition, on an IC card. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 21 is provided with an IC chip 23, and the chip 23 is constituted of a controlling CPU24, an E<2>PROM memory 25 in which a transacting condition is stored in advance, a data storing RAM26, etc. In case the card 21 is used, the CPU24 compares whether or not a code number supplied from a main control part of an automatic money paying and receiving device coincides with a password number stored in the memory 25, and as a result, a coincidence or dissidence signal is outputted. Also, the CPU24 is programmed so that the passward number cannot be tried illegally by counting the number of times of the dissidence signal. In this way, by providing the chip 23, it is unnecessary to store a transacting condition of a user in a file of a center side CPU, and a file capacity and a load can be reduced.
