PURPOSE: To make it possible to do a variety of cuttings for a work with a limited change of cutting tools by arranging plural cutting tools on a regular polygon turret supported, free to rotate, on the cutting tool mount and by enabling each cutting tool to be firmly supported in its vertical/horizontal position.

CONSTITUTION: For a work W, when drilling a hole, for example, on its upper face with a drill 25b, a turret 9 is rotated by a motor 23 to set the drill 25b in its vertical position, and when drilling a hole on the side of the work W, the turret 9 is rotated to set the drill 25b in its horizontal position. In this way, it is possible to drill a hole on the work in the vertical or horizontal direction with the drill 25b. Next, when the work W needs the cutting of its upper or side face, the work W is rotated by a motor 33 to set a bite (cutting tool) 25a in its vertical or horizontal position; thus the upper or side face of the work W can be cut. Therefore, a variety of cuttings can be easily performed without changing a cutting tool for each case.
