PURPOSE: To simplify a setting operation, by holding previously an operation data at an operation data setting device and then holding this data at a key telephone device.
CONSTITUTION: An operation data setting device 100 is connected to a main device 1 in place on a kay telephone 21 for a key telephone device which can rewrite the operation data for an operation data memory. The device 100 is turned on, and ten-key 1070∼1079 for setting operation data are operated. Thus the operation data is stored in an RAM104. Then a transfer instruction key 108 is operated, and therefore a control part 101 reads out the operation data and transfers it. A main control circuit 9 within the device 1 receives the operation data and stores it into an operation data memory 11.
