Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a brushless motor by reducing at least position detectors to a single unit, thereby decreasing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION:A yoke Y which is opposed to the outer peripheral side surface of a rotor R through an air gap and is formed to gradually shorten the distance from the outer peripheral side of the rotor R along the rotating direction of the rotor R is arranged on the periphery of the rotor R having a pole M1. A position detector H is arranged at the position to reduce the distance from the pole M1 at the shortest value, and a core C is arranged to oppose a leg piece through an air gap at the pole M1 in the vicinity of the position detector H. When the detector H detects the pole M1, a coil L1 wound on a core C is excited to magnetize it in different polarity from the leg piece, thereby continuously rotating the rotor R.
