Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce unnecessary radiation from a power source by providing a filter circuit connected with a choke coil and a damping resistance connected to the coil in parallel between an AC rectifier and the primary side of a switching transformer in series.
CONSTITUTION: A fuse 1, line filter 2, and rectifying circuit 4 are provided between the switching transformer 8 and power source; and the collector of a switching transistor 9 is connected to the primary side of the switching transformer 8 and the damping resistance 7 is connected to the other side of the transformer 8 in parallel to the choke coil 6 to prevent the leakage of higher harmonic components of switching frequency.
