PURPOSE: To uniformly coat a glass peripheral flange part with an adhesive, by a method wherein a model plate is provided and the rotary number of a glass receiving table is made controllable so as to keep the peripheral speed of the peripheral flange of window glass constant.
CONSTITUTION: The titled apparatus is constituted from the receiving table of an automobile window glass 1, a motor 5 rotating the receiving table 2, a stepless variable speed rod 6a changing the rotary number of the motor 5, a model plate 7, a connecting mechanism 8 connecting the plate 7 and the receiving table 2 so as to rotate both of them in synchronous relationship and a coater 22 coating the peripheral flange of the glass 1 with an adhesive. The aforementioned plate 7 has such an outer peripheral shape that a distance LHO from a rotary center is determined corresponding to a distance Lo from the glass center O to the peripheral flange of the glass 1 and the displacement of the rod 6a is controlled in this outer peripheral shape part. By this apparatus, the peripheral flange part of the glass 1 is uniformly coated with an adhesive.
