PURPOSE: To finely control the temperature of the cold wind supplied from a vent duct and adjust the cold-wind temperature according to the driver's desire in bylevel mode by supplying a portion of warm wind into the vent duct through a bypass and controlling the amount of wind by an opening/closing-controlling door.
CONSTITUTION: An air mixing zone 16 and a vent duct 17 directly on the downstream from a heat core 14 communicate through a bypass duct 32. Said duct 32 introduces a portion of warm wind into the vent duct 17 and controls the temperature of the cold wind supplied into a car interior. A door 32 is opening/closing- controlled by the operation of a cold-wind temperature adjusting lever 22, and the warm wind in the amount corresponding to the opening degree is supplied into the vent duct 17 through the bypass duct 32. In bylevel mode, a driver can easily adjust the cold-wind temperature finely according to his desire.
