Abstract:

PURPOSE: To availavely regenerate a catalyst, by grinding a catalyst, of which the activity is lowered, to form a powder which is, in turn, molded and subsequently baked at a specific temp.

CONSTITUTION: A catalyst which contains titanium oxide and oxide of at least one metal selected from vanadium, tungsten and molybdenum and poisoned through use for the reductive removal of NOx in exhaust gas in the presence of ammonia, is ground by a grinder to obtain a powder with a particle size of which 80wt% or more, pref. 90wt% or more is 30μm or less. A molding aid and water are added to this powder and, after kneading, the kneaded mixture is molded by an extruder, dried and baked at 400W550°C.
