Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an ion generator device that attains long life span by making the holding member of a filament that generates ions by arc discharge with phosphor bronze.
CONSTITUTION: An arc filament 2 is held by filament holding members 3 that hold said are filament and supply power to said arc filament 2. The filament holding members 3 are mounted on both sides of an arc chamber 1. The filament holding member 3 is made of phosphor bronze. The filament holding member 3 consists of a filament clamp 3a to hold the arc filament 2, connector rod 3b that holds the filament clamp 3a, and filament feed rod 3c connected to the connector rod 3b so as to supply the filament clamp 3a with the arc filament 2.
