Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the power-factor of the motor by counting pulses proportional to the number of revolution of the motor by reference signals prepared from position detecting signals and controlling the ignition of a frequency converter by the counting output of pulse number corresponding to the angle of allowance of commutation detected. CONSTITUTION:The angle of allowance of commutation in case of the power travelling operation of the synchronous motor 2 is detected by means of a detector 5, and corresponding pulse number gammam is outputted from an arithmetical circuit 7 so that the angle of allowance of commutation detected reaches proper value. The reference signals gamma180 deg. corresponding to a ignition phase angle 180 deg. are prepared from the output of a position detector 3, and the pulse output of frequency proportional to the number of revolution from a pulse generator 6 only by the pulse number of gammam from gamma180 deg. is counted by means of a counter 8. The thyristor of the frequency converter 1 is ignited through a changeover circuit 9 and a gate circuit 4 by the output of the counter circuit 8 outputted at a point of time when counted only by gammam. When starting, the angle of set control lead gamma0 deg. prepared from the output of the position detector 3 is used as the input of the gate circuit 4 through the changeover circuit 9.
