PURPOSE: To enable to preserve a brush over a long time while inhibiting its hardening, by forming a solvent-poured receiver so as to receive a bristle part.

CONSTITUTION: A solvent is poured into a receiver 3 to damp a bristle part 2. The receiver 3 is provided with a cover 4. Junction between the brush 1 and an opening 5 is fitted in a manner such that the brush 1 is closely inserted into the receiver 3. The cover 4 is used to cover the opening 5. When the receiver is prepared for every one brush, the brush is not contaminated with a different color.
