Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an integrated circuit device which has a high heat radiating capability for only a short period of time by cooling the device using evaporating heat of liquid.
CONSTITUTION: When power is supplied to an integrated circuit, heat is generated at the chip in the integrated circuit. This heat is also transferred to alcohol 50 within the integrated circuit. This alcohol reaches the boiling point due to a temperature rise after a constant period from turning ON of the power supply and the alcohol vapor is exhausted to the outside. The integrated circuit keeps its temperature at almost a constant value until the alcohol is perfectly evaporated.
