PURPOSE: To facilitate the development of a program conforming to the circumstances of application by assigning an area in which an application program and dictionary information are described, and executing the description, the definition of the meaning of syntax, and compilation and editing of the application program in some area.

CONSTITUTION: The area corresponding to every application is assigned to an application space means 103. The application programs corresponding to information showing a class and the relation of the class respectively and the dictionary information to make it possible to refer to the program are described in this area. The meaning analysis of the syntax of language in which the application program in some area is deribed is defined by a language defining means 105. Besides, the application program is compiled to a right processing code by a language compiler 106 having referred to the dictionary information existing in said area, and simultaneously, it is edited by a language editor 107. Thus, the development of the program conforming to the circumstances of the application is facilitated.
