Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make handling and processing operation on-site easy, and to improve durable life, by blending vinyl chloride resin with mica powder, molding the blend by extrusion or injection.
CONSTITUTION: Vinyl chloride resin is blended with mica powder having 300W 325 meshes in a weight ratio of 70:30, molded by extrusion to give a molded article of piping or injection molded to give a connecting tool. In the operation, a rigid material is obtained by adding no plasticizer to the blend, and a non- rigid material is prepared by adding a plasticizer to it.
