Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make the leakage loss of pressure oil nearly zero at the time of stalling and enable the capacity of a hydraulic pump to be reduced by providing a feed-pressure-varying-on-car-speed means between a pressure chamber, which is connected to an operating oil pressure source through a throttle and formed on a shift valve, and said operating oil pressure source. CONSTITUTION:A discharged oil from a hydraulic pump 50 is introduced to the cylinder 7 of a direct coupling clutch Cd provided between the pump impeller 12 and the turbine impeller 14 of a torque convertor 10, through a regulator valve 51, a timing valve 59, a modulator valve 60, and a lock-up control valve 61. Also, said discharged oil is introduced to clutches C1, C2 through a manual shift valve 53 and a 1-2 shift valve 55 respectively, to obtain a certain change gear ratio. In this case, a governer valve 52, as a feed-pressure-varying-on-car-speed means which varies a feed pressure in accordance with car speed, is provided between oil passages 71, 73 which connect the pressure chamber 55f of the 1-2 shift valve 55 to the discharge side oil passage 70 of the hydraulic pump 50 through a pressure reducing valve 54.
