Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by the formula I or its salt.
USE: An antibacterial agent. Having improved antibacterial activity against a wide range of bacteria, showing improved activity especially against Gram-positive bacteria. A dose is 250W3,000mg daily per adult, and administered 1W4 times daily.
PREPARATION: A substituted oxyiminothiazolylacetic acid derivative shown by the formula II (R1 and R2 are H, or amino-protecting group) or its reactive derivative is reacted with a 7-amino-3-cephem derivative shown by the formula IIIin a solvent such as dioxane, tetrahydrofuran, etc. under cooling W at room temperature. The reaction product is optionally deprotected to give a compound shown by the formula I .
