Title:
PRODUCTION OF ADSORPTIVE REMOVING AGENT FOR SO2
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5936541
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To produce economically an adsorptive removing agent for SO2 having high performance by bringing coal or carbonized coal into a soln. obtd. by adding a surfactant to a soln. contg. vanadium to impregnate more easily the aq. soln. of vanadium salt or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A small amt. of a surfactant (e.g.; ethylene oxide adduct of a secondary alcohol) is added to a soln. contg. vanadium in a production method for an adsorptive removing agent for SO2 including a stage of bringing the soln. contg. vanadium into contact with coal or carbonated coal to impregnate vanadium therein. As a result, a stage for boiling or vacuum impregnation is eliminated in the stage of dipping or impregnating coal or carbonized coal with an aq. soln. contg. vanadium salt or the like. This method is not only advantageous economically but also capable of providing extremely high performance in adsorption of SO2.
