CONSTITUTION: A keyboard 1 is connected to the CPU3 of a layout display device through a keyboard controlling circuit 2., and the designation of character, number of characters per line, pitch of characters and paper size are inputted from the board 1. An ROM4 that stores a microprogram, RAM8 that stores information, refresh memory 7 connected to a CRT display 5 and a printer etc. are connected to the CPU3. The writing for plural pages is stored in the RAM8. The refresh memory 7 is correlated with dots of the display 5 and written string of dots are displayed in the display 5. Lay out for plural sheets of paper is displayed in the display 5 at one time, and data of the writing of plural pages are recognized at one time to simplify the preparation of data.
