Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain early discover of grounding or contact accidents, by transmitting a howler tone after testing a subscriber line.
CONSTITUTION: The subscriber line is checked for grounding, detection of battery, and contact test with a subscriber line test circuit LTST before a howler tone is transmitted, and when there exists no fault, a howler tone is transmitted from a howler tone transmission circuit HOW, and when a fault exists, it is displayed. Thus, the fault display is attained if grounding or contact fault takes place, the processing of accident restoration is attained quickly, allowing to improve the service.
