PURPOSE: To obtain proper steering force in accordance with a car speed, by plurally providing throttled parts in the peripheral direction between a rotor and valve sleeve in the captioned valve and dividing the throttled parts into at least two sets with a different valve characteristic while selecting supply of pressurized oil to each set in accordance with the car speed.
CONSTITUTION: Plural throttled parts 24 are formed by protruded stripes 22 of a rotor 20 and recessed stripes 23 of a valve sleeve 19, and a control valve controls a circulative quantity of pressurized supply oil to a tank port 39 and output ports 35A, 35B by said parts 24. Here the parts 24 are divided into high speed throttled parts 24A, formed by two neighboring ones of the throttled parts and two neighboring ones located in a symmetrical position of the shaft with respect to the former two neighboring ones, and low speed throttled parts 24B formed by the others. Then pressurized oil introducing ports provided to the sleeve 19 are formed by a pair of ports 25A, 25B displaced in the axial direction, and pressurized oil is supplied to each port 25A, 25B through pump ports 27A, 27B, etc. by an oil passage selector valve of car speed sensing type not shown in the drawing.
