Abstract:
PURPOSE:To omit connection, and to simplify assembly work by incorporating a light receiver with an amorphous Si layer into the concave section of a frame body, an electrode thereof is exposed, and directly coupling the electrode to the electrode of the frame body. CONSTITUTION:The light receiver 11 is formed in such a manner that a transparent electrode 13, the amorphous Si layer 14 with a P-N junction and the Al electrode 15 are formed onto a beam transmitting substrate 12 while the Al electrode 16 is shaped onto the section exposed of the transparent electrode 13. The light receiver 11 is incorporated into the concave section 19 of the insulator frame 17, and the electrodes 15, 16 of the light receiver are connected to the electrodes 18 exposed at the center of the frame by solder 20, etc. Epoxy resin 21 is injected 23, and exhausted 23, and the concave section is sealed. Since the electrodes 15, 16 are arranged to the back, which has no adverse effect through the irradiation of lights, of such a thin amorphous Si film, the electrodes 15, 16 can directly be coupled with the electrodes 18, connection is omitted and work is simplified, and disconnection and exfoliation through the injection of resin are not generated.
