Title:
ORGANIC PHOTOCONDUCTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59168453
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive body having high sensitivity characteristics and stable potential characteristics in repeated uses by using a specified org. photoconductor.

CONSTITUTION: An electrophotographic sensitive body having practical high sensitivity characteristics and stable potential characteristics in repeated uses is obtained by using one of org. photoconductors, such as compds. of formulae Vand VI, having general formula I in which A is an aromatic coupler component, and R1 is a simple bond or one of groups of formulae IIWIV. This electrophotographic sensitive body can be used for not only an electrophotographic copying machine but also for the wide fields utilizing electrophotography, such as laser printers and CRT printers. This org. photoconductor can be used for not only an electrophotographic sensitive body, but also for solar cells and optical sensors. The solar cells can be prepared, e.g., by sandwiching this photoconductor with indium oxide and aluminum.
