PURPOSE: To reduce the space for the system for directly connecting a spinning frame and a winder by allowing a bobbin transfer apparatus to be interposed at the bobbin receiving and sending position between the bobbin transfer passages on the spinning frame side and the winder side and permitting the direct transfer of the bobbin between the both transportation passages.

CONSTITUTION: A bobbin transfer apparatus 15 for receiving a bobbin 28 on a bobbin transfer passage 4 on a spinning frame side and for sending said bobbin 28 onto a peg tray 27 in a bobbin transfer passage 14 on a winder side is equipped with a rising and lowering body which is freely raised and lowered along a guide shaft 33 in the vertical direction by a timing belt turned by the revolution of a motor. Said rising and lowering body is equipped with a bobbin chuck device, which can be put into two positions by guide apparatus. Said guide apparatus is equipped with a fixed guide body 43 which has a semicylindrical section and the aslantly cut upper part and a movable guide piece which is arranged in the upper part of the fixed guide body and is rotatably around an axis, and the cam follower 51 of the rising and lowering body is guided onto the inclined guide surface.
