PURPOSE: To set bracket metals at the optimum position of a car body in one motion by invariably pushing up the bracket metals with a spring force in a car maintenance lift liftably fitted with rotatable support arms provided with the bracket metals supporting a car body.

CONSTITUTION: A rotatable support member 2 is liftably provided on a stanchion 1, an arm 3 is horizontally rotatably provided on the said member 2 via a joint pin 4, and a slide arm 5 is shrinkably supported on the said arm 3. A bracket metal A is liftably fitted to the said arm 5. In this case, the bracket metal A is constituted by screwing a guide screw 6 into the slide arm 5, providing a stopper spring 7 at a proper position, coupling the guide spring 6 with a guide shaft 8 provided with a groove 9 at a position facing the said screw 7, and providing a pedestal 11 fixed with a rubber pad 10 on the said shaft 8. A spring 12 is inserted below the guide shaft 8 in the guide screw 6.
