Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform partially fast processing by setting a concern area in a picture, storing its inside and outside in different storage means, and outputting separately them after conversion based upon an optionally added function. CONSTITUTION:The same picture data required to be processed partially is inputted to frame memories 11 and 14 under the control of a bus controller 9 and a display controller 10, and then a concerned area ROI is generated in a graphic memory 17. Only the inside and the outside of the concerned area are set to a level H by a mask memory 13 and 16 respectively. Outputs d1 and d2 of the frame memories 11 and 14 are converted into D1 and D2 and when timing signals T1 and T2 of a display controller 10 coincide with outputs M1 and M2 of the mask memories 13 and 16, a signal D0 is outputted. The graphic memory 17 outputs a loop signal G0 surrounding the ROI by the signal of the display controller 10. Thus, the processing of the concerned area is speeded up and a medical tomogram is interpreted suitably.
