PURPOSE: To identify the group of an originating subscriber and to improve the service to users of PID cards, by dividing expected originating subscribers into some groups in terms of corporations, relatives, etc., and storing the subscriber numbers of the remote side for each group through a terminal device.
CONSTITUTION: The communication numbers of subscribers 410, 420 and 430 having PID (person identify) cards 411∼713 are registered at prescribed memory addresses of a home memory 310 via the nearest terminals 210, 220 and 230 and an exchange 110. The originating subscribers estimated during the above-mentioned registration are divided into groups in terms of corporations, relatives, etc. This virtual terminal incoming system is applied to perform a connection of exchange by a request of the originating subscriber. In this case, the originating subscriber number is called out of the memory 310. Then an exchange signal controller 111 of an exchange 110 discriminates the group to which the called number belongs. A channel is selected at the incoming side in response to the result of discrimination. In such a way, the service is improved for users of PID cards.
