PURPOSE: To obtain the titled die wherein the gate section can be cut off from a resin artcle in the mold thereby improving the operatin efficiency of the injection molding, by attaching to a core die body a force-cutting plate for cutting the gate in cooperation with a cavity die before the gate sets.

CONSTITUTION: The gate G that is thin in thickness and long in width and the runner R connecting the gate to the sprue are formed between the cavity die body 1 and the core die body 2. Since the force-cutting plate 13 forcibly cuts the gate in cooperation with the cavity die body 2 before the gate G sets, the gate G can be cut off from the product W after the injection molding and when the resin product W is removed from the mold.
