CONSTITUTION: A fin-shaped rough projection 10 is shaped in a metallic material by rolling with the aids of universal rolls 1, 2. Next, a projection 4 is rolled into a flange 5 with the aid of a pair of cantilevered vertical rolls 6 having each a caliber corresponding to the flange 5. Further, the looseness and bend of the projection 4 are straightened or the projection 4 is shaped into a wavy one 5' by using cantilevered forming rolls 7. And moreover, the projection 4 having a prescribed shaped is shaped by combining them with other rolls.
