PURPOSE: To observe a normal image in synchronizing with an image by either right or left eye as if the image were observed by both eyes by synchronizing light shutters provided on right and left lenses of a stereoscopic glasses with a switchng period at every right and left image fields of a subject displayed on a television screen or the switching period by frame and opening and closing said light shutters alternately.

CONSTITUTION: By using a subject as a center, a television camera 31 is rotated and shifted. An image mixer 2 mixes and synthesizes videos at every field, and transmits them to the camera 31. After synchronizing videos by each field, electric shutters 51 and 52 of shutter-type glasses are driven. On the other hand, a frame F1 and frame F2 are photographed by two fields at a position A and position B, respectively. In the same manner, each frame is photographed by two fields at a position C∼, and is observed by the shutter-type glasses. The shutters of the shutter-type glasses are operated by synchronizing them with respective fields so that the 2nd field and 1st field can be observed by a right eye and left eye, respectively, when the camera rotates clockwise. Then, for instance, a group of the fields F12 and F21 and that of the fields F22 and F31 are recognized as images with congestion angles, and a stereopsis can be obtained.
