PURPOSE: To prevent voltage fluctuation due to driving of a voice generating body and to enable stable range finding by blocking the action of a voice synthesizing device in the period from applying power to a range finder to outputting a range finding completion signal.

CONSTITUTION: When a switch 4 is closed linked with pushing of a shutter release button, power from a power source 3 is applied to all circuit except a flushing circuit 14. A range finder 1 generates a distance signal to an object after the lapse of some time from applying the power until the circuit operates stably. Until this time, voice signals are not sent out from an output terminal DAO of the voice composing device 2 for a specified time determined by a condenser 13, and the speaker 6 is not driven. After a specified time in which the range finder 1 completes range finding, the blockage of action of the voice synthesizing device 2 is released and enabled to operate, and various warning such as low brightness warning etc. is performed.
