Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a necessary rotational work from being reduced by the compression of a release spring at the time of a frontward twisted overturn by specifiedly constituting a control plate and angle levers respectively. CONSTITUTION: A toe piece is provided with a casing 2 which is fixed to a ski board 3 and has an axial hole 2b. A release spring 5 is stored in the hole 2b, its one end is supported to a lateral wall 2c of the casing, and the other end is supported by a piston-type spring receiver 6. The spring receiver is connected to a tension rod 8, the tension rod penetrates the lateral wall and supports a control plate 9 in its rear end. The tension rod is rotated perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the hole 2b of the casing. The tension rod 9 is guided to a vertical long hole 2d formed in the lateral wall 2c, two webs 9c1 , 9c2 having different width are arranged in the front face of the control plate 9, and a short lever arm 11a out of two angle levers 11 which are pivotally mounted by a vertical shaft 10 in the casing 2 is selectively in contact with either one of the both webs.
