Abstract:
To provide a toilet bowl device that enables identification of the form of an excrement of a user, while taking into consideration the privacy of the user in a toilet room.SOLUTION: A toilet bowl device 1 comprises: a bowl 14; a virtual detection surface 32 that is substantially orthogonal to a vertical falling trajectory of a stool 5 falling into the bowl 14; a passage detection unit 31 for detecting passage information including width dimension information of the falling stool 5 on the virtual detection surface 32; and a stool determination unit 33 that periodically collects the passage information of the falling stool 5 detected by the passage detection unit 31 in time series and identifies the form of the falling stool 5 based on such passage information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
