Abstract:
To provide a toilet device controlling toilet electric equipment in various patterns by detecting a person by a Doppler sensor without using another sensor or reducing the number of other sensors.
The microwave Doppler sensor 5 for detecting a distance to the person is installed in a low tank cover 2 of a Western style toilet 1. Entering/leaving of a toilet room 30 and standing use or seated use of the Western style toilet 1 are determined by the distance to the person, so that turn-on/off of automatic cleaning of the toilet, a power saving type hot water cleaning device, and a power saving type heating toilet seat is controlled.
