To provide a toilet seat apparatus and a toilet apparatus in which the sanitization by the sanitized water can effectively be performed, while preventing the mist of the sanitized water sprayed out of a spraying device from leaking and spreading to the outside of the toilet device in an after-mist-mode.SOLUTION: A toilet seat apparatus is installed on the top of a toilet bowl. The toilet seat apparatus includes a toilet seat, a toilet seat cover, a sanitization device for generating the sanitized water, a spraying device for spraying the mist of the sanitized water to the toilet bowl and the toilet seat, a control device for controlling the spraying device, and a detection sensor. The toilet seat apparatus is characterized as follows: the control device is capable of executing an after-mist-mode of automatically spraying the mist of the sanitized water after being brought into a state where the detection sensor may not detect a user; the control device controls the spraying device so as to spray the mist of the sanitized water on a first mist range when the toilet seat cover is in an open state in the after-mist-mode, and to spray the mist of the sanitized water on a second mist range when the toilet seat cover is in a closed state; and the first mist range is narrower than the second mist range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
